A heel flick goal is always a lovely one. And Carlos Tevez’s goal against Wigan is not an exception. A touch of a genius and a moment of brilliance changed the curse of the game. Being a marvelous goal and having such an impact on the outcome of the match, Tevez’s goal has been voted as the May Goal Of The Month by United Zone users.

Ladies and gentlemen, enjoy Tevez’s goal against Wigan Athletic:

One word: MACHEDA. I guess you already know what I’m talking about. The most surprising and one of the most important goals of the season. I really can’t choose the right words to describe the beauty of Kiko’s goal. I’ll let you enjoy the marvel of this jewelry.

Goal of the month: March 09

United 1-0 down vs Newcastle United. You don’t see that very often, do you? Not for long fellas. A legend like Rooney would not let his team suffer for too long. A one-two between John O’Shea and Park Ji Sung, followed by a pass towards Rooney. Wayne managed a good first touch to line the ball for an unstoppable shot. March goal of the month – Wayne Rooney vs Newcastle.

Asia Tour 2009 – The Final Word

Without Ronaldo and Tevez at United anymore I was rather interested to see how the team coped with out them especially Ronaldo. My main worry was where are the goals coming from? Sure Rooney and Berbatov bagged a few last season but it was clear to tell our main goal threat was the Portuguese winger.

Goal of the Month: February 09

A sublime finish that took as back to the mid 90’s when Giggsy was in his heyday. He pops up from the left side, after executing the corner, cuts back inside, gets past two West Ham players and then fires a low shot into the far corner of the net. An absolutely brilliant goal. Thank you Ryan Giggs!

Enjoy it, folks, the February Goal of the Month, scored by Ryan Giggs against West Ham:

Goal of the Month: January 09

Cutting in from the left and lashing out a rocket long shot towards the goal. Ronaldo? No! Rooney? Wrong again. Nani! I bet you did not expect this, did you? Though he has made few appearances this season, the lad managed to score a wonder goal, against Derby County, which has been voted as January Goal of the Month.

Ladies and gents, enjoy Luis Nani’s wonder goal:

Goal of the Month: December 08

December 3, 2008. A mixture of youth and experience versus a Blackburn Rovers team at full strength. This was the setup for the December Goal of the Month. In the injury time, when United was only one goal ahead, Carlos Tevez lashed the ball past Paul Robinson from the edge of the penalty area to ensure the Red Devils go into the Carling Cup semi-finals. A goal that made all the fans go wild.

Michael Owen: Has been hack, or another brilliant piece of buisness by Sir Alex ?

Well, well, well. What a start to the transfer window. It’s only the fourth of July (at the time of writing) and United have already sold Cristiano Ronaldo for 80 million pounds, lost Carlos Tevez and signed Luis Antonio Valencia for a reasonable fee of 16 million pounds. So what next? Well Sir Alex was strongly linked with a move for Benzema, after his ex-Lyon team mate Pranjic stated that Benzema was on the brink of a 40 million euro move to Old Trafford, statements which he would later deny having said. Of course, Real Madrid would eventually open their cheque book to sign the French talisman. In typical fashion, the tabloids went overboard yet again. “United In Transfer Crisis!” read the headlines. “Madrid pip United in transfer battle again!” they cried. What would Fergie do now? Losing his prized possession in Ronaldo, and being beaten to Karim Benzema, the rumour mill picked out names such as Huntelaar, Aguero and Luis Fabiano as possible targets for the wily old manager. However, in true Fergie fashion, Sir Alex pulled what will surely be the biggest shock signing of the transfer season. Welcome to Old Trafford Michael Owen!

Video of the Day: Michael Owen – the new Red Devil

Shock and surprise. This is what Michael Owen’s signing meant to most of the Manchester United fans.

The prospect of signing a former Anfield favourite was not greeted with unanimous enthusiasm from Stretford Enders, particularly when the player in question is perceived by many to be washed up – including, it seems, the England manager Fabio Capello.

But Ferguson believes the former Real Madrid poacher is a gamble worth taking if he can stay injury-free and return to the kind of goalscoring form that made him European Footballer of the Year in 2001.

Until we see Michael in a United shirt for the first time, let’s enjoy the brightest moments of his career so far:

Video of the Day: Luis Antonio Valencia

Luis Antonia Valencia was Manchester United’s first summer signing, post Ronaldo. Many United fans have already divided into two groups: one that supports Valencia and think he’ll be Red Devils’ next superstar and another group that thinks he’s not good enough to fill the gap left by Cristiano Ronaldo. Until we get to see the lad in action for United, let’s enjoy his finest moments for Wigan and Ecuador’s national team:
