Manchester United Supporter's Trust[MUST]

In the wake of the recent bond issue and increased awareness among the United supporters about the detrimental effect of the Glazer ownership on the club MUST has grown rapidly and now has over 45,000 members on it's board.

MUST has been a firm supporter of fan ownership and it's moving towards it following Keith Harris' interview to the BBC stating a few 'Red Knights' have approached him regarding the matter.


I'd hope people join MUST atleast as a free member if someone can't afford to join and a full time voting member.

I've been a free member for a month now. I would consider becoming a full member but outside of the monetary benefit it would be for the trust, the fact that I'm not in Manchester means I wouldn't be able to actually do much as a full member anyway. Maybe when I head up there I'll pay in person.

I signed up as a free member but never got a email to confirm it. I would pay if i could aford it but i just dont have a job at the min

Yeah I'm neither a full paid member as I'm a student and don't have a part time job or anything plus no credit card to pay either.

If anyone who has the means to pay but doesn't seem that he'll have any use of the full membership just get the membership as a way of donating to the supporter's trust.

You get a printed newsletter, membership badges, certificate and other special offers along with a right to vote on MUST affairs.

Just signed up for the free account. I'll go ahead and pay the membership fee when I get the confirmation email. I donated at the time the Glazers were making the take over but it was too little too late then. I don't really think the group can do much at this point though.

Went ahead and paid my 15 quid today after all. Not sure if the member number is the number of members but if so each member should give up 10 pounds and there'd be more than enough to buy back the club.
