| Not a big fan of basketball or NBA but I keep my eye on how things are going across th ocean. Once in a while even watch some matches.
I must say Boston Celtics have been impressive this season. Pierce, Ray Allen and Garnett are one hell-of-a-trio. Also some guy Rondo has been supporting them quite well from the point-guard position.
They seem to be doing very well as a team, even when Ray Allen was out for some matches they kept winning and didn't lose their touch. Very strong contenders for this year's title. |

| Well, being from Boston, I've been a Celtics fan for as long as I can remember. I believe that one of the major reasons the Celtics are playing unbeatable basketball this season is due to there defense. Of course the big 3 are untouchable, but the Celtics rebounding and steals per game are of a different level. With Garnett and Allen joining the club, Pierce actually has more freedom on the court to show why he's one of the best players in the league. He's enjoying his basketball and not getting fouled extensively like he has been in the past seasons. They will definately be the team to beat this year.

| Celtics will be there at the end. Will they win...probably. Outside of the fact that they have a set of incredibly athletic, agressive, focused players, they also have comraderie. That is a big factor and something i noticed before the seaosn started in interviews. That makes a difference....
the Knicks play the rockets tonight. FUCK!
the only good thing about tonights trip:
FUCK!

| Good question. I believe they have a strong enough team to go deep in the playoffs. Keep in mind that they are a young team with just a few experienced players. By experienced players, I mean players that have a few playoffs under their belt. In the West, I really can't see a team that can keep up with them. Just last week they played 4 away games in 5 days. All West teams and beat them convincingly in their own court. The East is what scares me. Very unpredictable. The only team I can see giving them a problem is the Detroit Pistons. The Pistons have a very experienced team, especially in the playoffs. Granted, the Celtics just beat them last night, in Detroit, 92-85, snapping Detroit's 11 game winning streak. What really surprised me was how the Celtics won, after playing the night before and beating a very good Memphis team. They beat Detroit with their bench. That's the Celtic's strong point this season . They have very good bench players. But that's just one game against Detroit. But playing Detroit in a best of 5 or a best of 7 series, that's where Detroit might be favored because of their experience. In my heart, I would like to see the Celtic's go all the way. But if I was a betting man, I would put my money on Detroit.

| I'll differ with you and i hate to admit it, but the Celtics have an aura about them. They just smell like winners this year. I can't believe the New Yorker is betting on the Celtics, while the bostonian is willing to bet against them. The world is about to implode in on itself. The Celtics remind me of the 96 yankees. The team was formed from nowhere, but you just have a feeling that nothing will stop this team. A dynasty might just be forming.

| I can't stress how much I dislike Darth Kobe and the LA Lakers. He is chiefly responsible for Shaq's departure and that idiot Bean could have had another 2 championships if he weren't so selfish.
With that said, the Lakers have been playing very well. Like they have a lot to prove. Teammates of Darth, want to show him that he is wrong saying that they aren't good enough to compete for a championship along with Darth and Phil Jackson trying to prove to the media/fans and other teams that they are championship calibre team.
Once playoff time comes, they'll be in the same boat as they were last season. Overmatched, under talented and Darth Kobe bitching for another LA exit.
But, hey.... things can be worse... the LA Lakers could be the NY Knicks with Isiah in charge.
Note: Sorry GoCart, I couldn't resist...
